Bhauna Hansjee and Fahreen (Kim) Kader are the minds behind MissFit Media. They are both attorneys practicing in sunny Durbs and the magazine is their latest project, one they hope will grow into a great big success!
While paging through one (or two or three...) of the periodicals that circulate within the legal community, Bhauna and Kim came upon the idea that there are more than attorneys and advocates in the legal profession. It is made up of a lot of people fulfilling different roles, and a huge number of them are women! And all the women that make up the legal profession, (from secretaries to office managers to clerks to attorneys, advocates and judges and so on!) have a lot on their minds besides latest judgments. At the same time, lifestyle magazines do not provide the specific information that women in the profession may need.
So why not combine the two in a stylish online magazine that gives you just the right amount of legal content to keep you in the know, gives practical information that practitioners require, assitance to article clerks and pupils, options to office managers who could use a handy website... ? All contained in a cool newsletter format online magazine, that will take you, at most, twenty minutes to read and you can keep coming back to check out law reports, updates on amended legislation, practical info on motion court and trial court rolls, practice directives, opinion pieces and very entertaining segments on life, love and everything else.
